The idea behind Nike Mind

Nike developed the Mind technology together with neuroscientists and had it tested by elite athletes. Design and technology

The footbed consists of 22 foam nodes that move independently of each other. They pass the texture of the ground on to the sole of your foot, so you feel more consciously where you are standing. Thanks to the closed toe it is really a mule, which you slip on and off in one move.
