Yeezy Slide
The Yeezy Slide is a moulded foam slide from the Yeezy line, with a thick sole and a clean, minimalist design. It feels soft and springy, and goes with shorts as well as a tracksuit. That makes it one of the most worn Yeezy models, for women and men.
The history of the Yeezy Slide
adidas released the Yeezy Slide in late 2019, in the colours ‘Bone’, ‘Desert Sand’ and ‘Resin’. The idea was simple: a slide made from a single piece, without logos or separate parts. That simplicity caught on, and the Slide became a fixture in the collection.
In the years that followed came new colours and several restocks, making the Slide easier to get than many other Yeezys. After the partnership ended in 2022, no new adidas designs were added. In 2025, however, Kanye West released the YS-01 under his own YZY label, a slide in the same minimalist style that appears independently of adidas.
Design and materials
The Yeezy Slide is moulded from EVA foam, a light and water-resistant material. The strap across the foot and the sole form a single unit, without seams. The footbed has grooves for grip, and the ribbed underside gives traction on slippery surfaces.
The thick sole adds a little height and gives with every step. Because the foam does not absorb water, you can also wear the Slide by the pool or after sport and rinse it off easily.

What is the difference between the Yeezy Slide and the Foam RNNR?
Both are made of moulded foam, but the Slide is an open slide and the Yeezy Foam RNNR a closed slip-on with openings. The Slide is quicker to put on and nice for indoors and at home. The Foam RNNR gives more support while walking. For a full sneaker, you are better off looking at the Yeezy Boost 350.
How does the Yeezy Slide fit?
The Yeezy Slide runs small. Choose one size up if in doubt. The Slide only comes in whole sizes; if you normally wear a half size, pick the whole size above it. You can tell a Slide is too small when your heel hangs over the edge of the footbed.
