The ASICS Gel-Kayano is one of the longest-running running lines from ASICS, but on the street it is mostly about one version: the Gel-Kayano 14. The history of the ASICS Gel-Kayano

Can you run in the Gel-Kayano 14?
You can for an easy jog, but the Kayano 14 uses technology from 2008. For serious training you are better off with the current Gel-Kayano, which ASICS still releases as a stability running shoe. The retro version is mainly worn for its look and everyday comfort, just like the Gel-1130 and the Gel-NYC.
