The On Cloud 6 is the sixth generation of the Cloud, the light all-rounder that introduced On to a wide audience. It is made for short runs, walking and everyday wear, and slips on easily thanks to its elastic laces. With its calm, sporty silhouette you see the Cloud 6 at the office or on the road just as often as on the treadmill.
The history of the On Cloud
On built its name on CloudTec, a sole with hollow elements that compress on landing. The Cloud became the most accessible model with that technology: light, simple and meant for people who do not necessarily run marathons. Each generation became a little more comfortable, and the Cloud 6 succeeds the Cloud 5 with a roomier fit.
Design and technology
The midsole consists of CloudTec elements made from Zero-Gravity foam, which absorb your landing. Above them sits an updated Speedboard, a flexible plate that turns the energy of your step into forward motion. The upper is made of light, breathable mesh, and with the elastic speed laces you slide the shoe on without tying. Prefer a classic look? Then swap them for the regular laces.
There is also a Cloud 6 Waterproof, with a waterproof membrane for rainy days.

The Cloud 6 All Black is completely black, sole included, which makes it suitable for work or a smarter outfit too. The Glacier White combines white with a cool, light tone. The Cloud 6 All White is fully white, and the Cloud 6 Waterproof All Black is the black version with a waterproof membrane.
What is the difference between the On Cloud 6 and the Cloudmonster?
The Cloud 6 is low and light, with a thinner sole that feels stable and direct. The Cloudmonster has a much higher sole with bigger clouds and is built for long runs with maximum cushioning. How does the On Cloud 6 fit?
The On Cloud 6 fits true to size, so you can choose your normal size. It is roomier in the forefoot than the Cloud 5, which many wearers found narrow. If you have wide feet or are between two sizes, go half a size up. Note that women’s and men’s models each have their own On size chart.
