Air Max.

In 1978, Nike developed its famous Air cushioning technology, which was subsequently applied in both sneakers and running shoes. Not only was the design initially misunderstood, but there were also doubts about its feasibility. Tinker Hatfield wanted to showcase the Air technology, which had been used in Nike shoes for several years, to the outside world. He aimed to achieve this by creating a "window" in the sole, allowing a view inside. Fortunately for sneaker enthusiasts, the designers at Nike continued to develop the sneakers despite the criticism. Almost a decade later, in 1987, the shoe was launched. These sneakers featured a visible Air unit in the sole, leading to an entirely new sneaker design. To say that the model was a success might be an understatement. This success led to the sneaker being released in hundreds of different colorways. After the introduction of this model, countless other variants followed, with the Nike Air Max 1 occupying a prominent place. The Nike Air Max 1 honors the original Air Max model. The revised version of the original model is fully adapted to the modern era without losing the essence of the original. There are now various models such as the Air Max 90, 95, and many others. Yet, this first variant remains special. New colorways and the use of contemporary materials contribute to the enduring legacy of this iconic sneaker.
